Cookie notice
What we set, why, and how to control it.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixel tags. This notice covers all of them.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary. Session management, security, load balancing, and remembering your language choice. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Preference. Remembering your chosen language and interface settings so they persist between visits.
Analytics. Understanding which pages are used and where visitors encounter difficulty, so we can improve the site. Set only with your consent where consent is required.
Marketing. Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns. Set only with your consent. We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Specific cookies
castis_lang — preference — stores your selected language so automatic detection does not override it — 12 months.
castis_session — strictly necessary — maintains an authenticated session — session.
castis_consent — strictly necessary — records your cookie choices — 12 months.
[Analytics and marketing cookie names, providers and durations to be completed before publication, matching the tools actually deployed.]
Your choices
You can accept or reject non-essential categories when you first visit, and change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site from working.
Language detection reads the language setting your browser reports. It does not require a cookie, but we store your manual choice in a preference cookie so we do not override it on your next visit.
Changes
We will update this notice when the cookies we set change. Effective date: [to confirm on publication].
